How much can go wrong with a podcast? When will they get it right? The news is almost non-existent but Tenney and Durgan pull together to create another much to be debated episode. Try and figure out how it takes Mesery 33 minutes to tell what is essentially 2 stories. Are the other podcasters right is this the last show? Nope… but should it be? Tenney never gives up on anything that easy.

Although John has been drinking vodka for hours everything comes off without a hitch. Durgan shows up on time but at the last minute our guest cancels….have no fear, Derek shows up to save the day. Email from listeners, news from around the globe, and Durgan creates The Oddist’s first contest! Thrill at the interview with Derek who really is willing to talk about anything. A right proper show!

Durgan shows up with his wife. John interviews Daniel Rainer or is it the other way around? Most of the show ends up on the cutting room floor. Will there be a fight between John and Durgan? Did Durgan’s wife know about the podcast before the Hanson show? The most disjointed and confusing episode ever, and this is only number two! Listen if you want to see how bad it can be when someone doesn’t know how to use mixing equipment.

So even though Durgan didn’t show up on Saturday he did show up Sunday and I don’t know how but the first episode is done and available. Mark Diesel is the guest interview and the music that you’ll hear is from Korean pop sensations Panic and Lee Juk. Aside from listening to the show (which for some reason starts “glitching out” like crazy during Diesel’s BB Gun attempt), you can start to get to know the host as he starts to get to know what he is doing.

The Oddist is a strange little podcast which will serve to show that the host, John E.L. Tenney is actually pretty normal...and everyone around him is weird.
